This piece starts as a photograph and slowly degenerates over time. It is one of a series of generative works that look like a still image but which is in fact constantly evolving at a piece just below human perceptual threshold. The computer is drawing shapes, lines and text based on the image. Each successive image becomes the source image for the next generation, so it falls apart slowly over time, then starts over again, with a different set of parameters, so the piece never repeats.
