This piece is generated from a series of landscape photographs and 3D models. It appears to be a still image but it is constantly evolving at a piece just below human perceptual threshold. The computer creates an image by drawing shapes and lines based on a source landscape image. The resulting image becomes the source image for the next generation, so it gradually becomes more abstract over time. 3D models of windblown paper strips are laid over this evolving background. Everything is constantly changing and this piece will never exactly repeat itself.
